Jupiter conjunct Mercury in Cancer square Saturn and Neptune in Aries, Ceres in Aries
LUNAR YOD: RULER Moon at 3 Sagittarius to Jupiter/Mercury sextile Venus in Taurus, but Venus is SQUARE PLUTO
The Divine Dark Feminine Undercurrent: Jupiter ingress Grand Water Trine with Jupiter/Mercury in Cancer, Hekate at 0 Scorpio, Haumea at 1 Scorpio, Asteroid Lilith at 0 Pisces, Vesta at 5 Scorpio conjunct Black Moon Lilith at 6 Scorpio ***this analysis will be on the Divine Dark Feminine level of subscription of my website
I don’t typically make my work publicly available at quite this level of depth, but this transit is important in the context by which I consider it, especially for WOMEN, and I feel compelled to do so. If you find my work relevant, my basic subscription level is only 3 bucks per month in an effort to keep some sort of appropriate energetic exchange yet be sensitive to the state of the world and what people are enduring financially during these dark days. I also have a free level for those who would like what I do post publicly to go straight to their inbox.
Jupiter, planet of spiritual heights that graces us with abundance, expands all that it touches, and inspires our deepest sense of BELIEF is poised at the shore of Cancer, the deep Moon ruled Water sign of home and family, roots, emotion, and all that is MOTHER. Cancer is the crab, the highly protective defender of innocence, where emotional security is a requirement and we build connection through nurture and unconditional love. Jupiter is in its sign of exaltation in Cancer, where it’s generally comfortable and the growth is natural, abundance is like the tide lapping at the shore then coming in big waves. When Jupiter is in Cancer, emotion is BIG and drives our sense of urgency, it is what inspires us to heights we could not have otherwise attained and depths we could not otherwise feel. This is a powerful transit, given the state of exaltation, but we cannot get ahead of ourselves in this consideration. The ingress chart is crucial to consider, and the underlying nature of this transit is plagued by powerful squares and underlying confrontation. There are obstacles to face, and Jupiter wakes up from its detriment in Gemini where it’s been scattered and espousing belief that may have been all over the place to confront the fact that here in Cancer, we’re expected to already have a grasp on emotional needs, and the tidal wave is already on the way. Mercury ingressed to Cancer yesterday after the conjunction to Jupiter took place at 29 Gemini, and it’s like whatever disillusionment we’ve been clinging to is now torn down, and the shoreline is unprepared, though there had been plenty of warning.
Cancer brings a profound sense of intuition, and opening the floodgates may be overwhelming. We don’t just perceive here, we FEEL everything to the core around us, and it may become difficult to discern whether what we feel is truly ours, or if we’re picking up the people around us and responding to their projection. This is a time when it’s important to uphold boundaries, and to remember that care and nurture does NOT ENTAIL ENABLING, and part of the lesson of Jupiter in Cancer requires us to balance still existing ourselves while in a space that demands a higher level of care and nurture for those around us. The conjunction between Mercury, planet of thought and communication to Jupiter at this time of ingress can make this heightened sensitivity far more powerful and therefore even more overwhelming. Cancer is sentimental and attaches deeply…there may be a powerful surge of pain if there are difficult realizations, or there may be a profound sense of overwhelming and unconditional love that upwells with this time of Jupiter moving into Cancer, because underneath it all, that’s what drives the true nature of MOTHER. This ingress of Jupiter into Cancer brings a quiet sense of RIGHT, given the exaltation…it whispers, “I KNOW, I’ve already known, I’ve ALWAYS known…” and that can feel like a blessing or a curse, depending upon how this integrates within the context of your chart and what ALL of these transits are currently excavating and catalyzing. Cancer requires TRUST, and Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Cancer is here to show us who and what can be trusted, and who or what cannot. This transit is all about the deeper meaning of emotion, the intuitive instinct that embodies the true power of the Divine Feminine, and how what we root and what we tend to will GROW, whether that’s a blessing or a curse depends upon what we choose here at the beginning of this transit, as Jupiter finds itself in precarious circumstances, given the aspects at hand.
Saturn and Neptune are close to conjunct in the beginning of Aries, and they will dance back and forth into Pisces again in late summer/early fall, not completing their exactitude of conjunction until February 20, 2026. Saturn is the planet of limitation, restriction, and structure and in Aries it’s in the sign of ME, the great I AM, and this is a Saturn that demands PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY while Neptune is the planet of dreams, intuition, and illusion. These two were tightly conjunct in delusional Pisces and crossed the North Node together back through Feb/March/April and all of the activity at the end of Pisces led to a space of avoidance and procrastination, I always discuss Pisces as the sign that will sacrifice and mean well, but absolutely no one asked for that sacrifice, and the martyr complex is unearned. Now that these two are in Aries, with demand for ME and MY WAY and there is very little patience to wait for anything to come to fruition with Saturn ruling TIME and being in it’s sign of FALL where it does not function at it’s best, so the sense of attempted restriction goes EXTRA HARD and may be extra counterproductive to achieving its ends while it’s got totally unrealistic expectations in the conjunction with Neptune, there is a state of grandiosity and out of control ego expectation that is being set up for the next three years with Saturn here. When the ego finally gets checked, with Saturn, it will be HARD…and this Saturn/Neptune conjunction that asserts domination and authority, especially from a MASCULINE space with Saturn being the authoritarian in ARIES squaring the FEMININE Mercury/Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter can try, it can cry, it can nurture, it can blow up as a Cancer influence with extreme emotion is bound to do…but no headway can be made as long as Saturn is unrelenting in its negation and restriction. This can manifest in MANY ways according to the context of your own natal chart and the charts of the people around you on a personal level, but in a general sense, we have a pervasive theme this year of MASCULINE self-driven delusion and FEMININE breaking it down and being unable to do the Cancer thing, which is to nurture and heal. And this square CONFRONTATIONAL and Cancer detests confrontation, but the Feminine here is not going to just sit back and hide within the shell. There is no time for that, and there is no benefit. Mercury conjunct Jupiter means full-on relentless expression of the emotion, no matter what the cost may be as Saturn in Aries wants to impose limitation without regard for feelings.
When I talk about the feminine and the masculine in an astrological context, please keep in mind that gender is a spectrum and these qualities are not inherent to penises nor vaginas, that’s just gross. The divine feminine and the divine masculine represent the energy that resides within these archetypes at either side of the polarity dynamic. Polarities, however, always include all points in between, a topic I have touched upon in my work for YEARS now. Feminine receptivity, psychic prowess, birth and the menstrual cycle are simply realities that tie into this experience and we all have the capability for feminine qualities, but this transit is in no way about “men getting in touch with their feminine side” , we are all who we are and it’s incumbent upon the individual to choose to be a good human within wherever they find themselves upon the gender spectrum. Cancer is as WOMAN as it gets, and Aries is as MAN as it gets, respectively Moon ruled, and Mars ruled. I WILL be discussing the nature of what it is to be A WOMAN under Jupiter in Cancer in my further work on this topic at later dates, and I WILL at later dates be talking about the menstrual cycle AS A WOMAN as these are inherent themes to Jupiter in Cancer, so please consider that a fair warning from a woman with a Cancer rising and a tight Moon/Neptune conjunction. If these topics make you uncomfortable or feel excluded, that’s ok, it’s not for you. The power of experiencing the menstrual cycle will be INTENSE during this transit. That I felt the need to express and defend what I’m not even going to say yet should be a clue as to the raging dynamic of this square, the Feminine attacked by the Masculine, and attacking back. That disclaimer being said, now…
This is the basic, reductive nature of the ingress square:
Mercury/Jupiter in Cancer: Emotional power, intuitive capability, raw feminine instinct
Saturn/Netpune in Aries: Impeded inertia, ego assumption, male authority imposition
Given this powerful square that will be pervasive in the ingress and that sets the tone for the entire transit, whatever starts during this time should be navigated with the insight that it may be difficult to begin and will face obstacles and restrictions. These limitations are imposed according to Saturn, and Saturn brings a reckoning that is EARNED, it doesn’t just intervene for no reason, Saturn is here to teach and to guide through harsh principles. Jupiter is a spiritual influence, and it’s time to ensure that our spiritual values and how we align with them in the context of CARE, NURTURE, HOME, and FAMILY are not impeded by ego, SELF, or neglect and selfishness because that’s where Saturn in Aries is going to step in and bring everything grinding to a halt. Things that begin with dishonesty will not even get off the ground, there absolutely must be a sense of emotional accountability. Neptune in Aries compounds this problem with its escapist tendencies, and in keeping up illusions. Jupiter in Cancer, however, brings RAW FEELING and the intense intuition that just knows better, and this tense Cardinal square is a difficult one to navigate. Mercury/Jupiter in Cancer can’t just call out Saturn in Aries behavior, because Saturn is the one imposing and preventing the blessings that Jupiter can bring. This tension is not easily resolved, and ultimately, as with many of the transits we are currently under, force only backfires. Acceptance and forgiveness are also NOT the key here, because the issues of Saturn in Aries are about personal accountability, and forgiveness/acceptance is only ENABLING under that type of influence. If there are difficulties, remember…Cardinal signs are required to TAKE ACTION. They are initiating signs, the beginning of each season, and they are an ACTIVE PROCESS transit. Something must be done, and intuition is the key to deciding how to move forward from here in a way that holds us accountable. The Saturn square is one of the biggest reality check points of this entire year happening at the very beginning of these Cardinal signs, and it’s not to be taken lightly. If you know who you are, and you’re operating in accordance with BEING YOURSELF and have been, then Jupiter may be free to open new realms of emotional fulfillment. If you’ve been up to anything shady, however, Saturn is going to have its way with you and in Aries that is unpleasant and unrelenting.
Ceres is in Aries all through the rest of the year AND will still be in Aries when Saturn and Neptune FINALLY make their exact conjunction next year on February 20, and at that time, Ceres will be CONJUNCT CHIRON. Ceres is the mother archetype that embodies the grieving mother, the mother who defends and protects, and in Aries is called to be the warrior, engaging battle on behalf of those whom she loves. At the time of this ingress, Ceres is past Saturn and Neptune but is still deeply ingrained in the influence of the chart because she will be ready to take action through this sign, and this feels like a supportive influence to Jupiter in Cancer, though it may seem contradictory as the two square. Ceres comes from a place of justified feminine rage in Aries, that isn’t afraid to fight. Ceres has already navigated some of the territory that Saturn and Neptune will cover, and her level of care and nurture, which is Cancerian by definition, has already sliced through Neptune’s haze with clarity about what’s best for us and those around us. We can take this warrior mother’s advice and think about it from the context of Mercury/Jupiter entering cancer to focus on the aftercare, in the aftermath, since Ceres has perhaps already made tough decisions ahead of this ingress. Ceres is the dwarf planet that is a hidden influence of the Divine Feminine here in this masculine sign, operating ahead of the game of Saturn/Neptune. There will be TWO squares between Jupiter in Cancer and Ceres in Aries, the first taking place on August 23, 2025, and the next occurring on February 5, 2026 at which point Saturn and Neptune will be very close to their true, exactitude of conjunction. Ceres may now be clearing the path, but at those points, the nature of personal need/accountability will come into conflict with how we have to care for those around us, and it is best to define these things NOW while Ceres is free to discern on her own in regard to needs of SELF.
Cancer is, of course, ruled by MOON, and with Jupiter here, the Lunar transits will be INTENSE during the time that Jupiter is here in Moon’s sign. Feeling deepens, intuition becomes OVERWHELMING, and this may bring clarity OR it may bring difficulties, depending upon your own natal chart, especially your natal Moon. It’s an excellent time to study how the Moon influences you as it moves through each house for you every month, and to pay attention to your Lunar Return chart each month, if you don’t already do that in your astrological learning path. How does MOON impact this ingress? Moon as ruler of Jupiter in Cancer is in an EXTREMELY intense configuration that hits the ingress directly, with Moon at 3 Sagittarius in a LUNAR YOD, or “Finger of God” aspect pattern with Mercury/Jupiter sextile Venus in Taurus, which is a lovely Venus in domicile, to be certain, but we cannot forget that this Venus is also SQUARE PLUTO. To break down this influence, remember, a Yod is a point toward fate, destiny may be intervening here and there is a call to action. Yods are a relentless push in the right direction, an aspect pattern that does not so much compel as it FORCES with the lens and focus being upon the Apex planet at the peak or “point” of the triangle, in this case, Sagittarius Moon. This is a Moon sign that intellectualizes, and Sagittarius is JUPITER RULED, which means that Moon and Jupiter are in each other’s signs, a state known as Mutual Reception, and this makes their relationship INTENSE, and profoundly beneficial despite the challenges presented in this ingress chart. Sagittarius Moon is relentlessly optimistic, and as a Mutable Fire sign, has a way with resilience that no other Moon sign can quite compare to in its willingness to pick up the pieces and DO SOMETHING. Do something it MUST given that it’s the apex of a Yod, and this Yod is formed by a base of Mercury/Jupiter sudden emotional hyperawareness in Cancer and Venus in Taurus where we would prefer placidity, slow and easy graceful security, and amassing stability…but there’s Pluto in Aquarius knocking down Venus’ tenuous foundation with harsh, cold reminders and power struggles and harsh consequences where we’ve been lacking ethics. Sagittarius Moon entails BLUNT FORCE EMOTIONAL HONESTY, always. This is an UNAPOLOGETIC manifestation of the Divine Feminine. This is a Moon that speaks to emotional TRUTH without a filter, there is no pretense here and it will NOT ALLOW us to be emotionally manipulated nor to be castigated for feeling, nor for existing, nor for our right to presence nor evolution. This is a Moon that TAKES UP SPACE and then seeks MORE. This is not a Moon that waits, it’s a Moon that lights its proverbial arrow on Fire and aims HIGH, it can land where it may!!!!!
Yods often come with an internal restlessness, that we may not know how to approach or how to get started. They can be irritating agitation, knowing that something HAS TO GIVE but we don’t know how to get there, and then the manifestation is event based on how the transit plays out, and they do often take effect with immediacy. They are a fleeting configuration, and this one moves FAST like a wrecking ball. Especially given that this is a LUNAR Yod with Moon/Jupiter in Cancer in Mutual Reception, PAY ATTENTION TO FEELINGS AND SHIFTS IN FEELINGS and the impact that feelings can have, the TRUTH of feelings is the crucial thing to Sagittarius Moon, and the instability evidenced by the Venus/Pluto square will be provocative. Control and power struggles may arise and be an impetus to change, or perhaps just internal realizations or sudden awareness of what was previously hidden as Pluto forces Venus in Taurus out of her comfort zone, and Sagittarius Moon is not going to just ignore the problems, Moon is intensified by Jupiter at ingress and Cancer is an EXTREMELY protective sign. Whatever this ingress brings, the emotional confrontation and the emotional impact is going to be the driving force in the action that Jupiter in Cancer may decide that we need to take, and it will be an underlying theme for the duration. Pluto exerts control…the feminine responds in ways that Pluto does not anticipate, disrupting its perception of power. This domicile Venus says, “Come at me, bro. I’m manifesting this through a YOD you can’t see and don’t know about, oh, you sextile Moon? Cool story. Thanks for the secrets, I already knew.” Pluto is quincunx Mercury/Jupiter and does not see that Venus already has all this powerful support and understanding in the way that only the Divine Feminine can. Games for power or secrets for control or manipulation are bad ideas under this Yod, where raw emotional honesty lies at the core of this transit.
Mars in Leo is applying to a square to Uranus in Taurus that will be exact later in the week, but in the context of the ingress, can be problematic in regard to accidents or aggression, sudden events or sudden chance happenings that change the course of reality are possible, and that does not necessarily mean in a way that’s comfortable, Uranus is instability and sudden change and Mars is conflict and war. BE CAREFUL around both Fire AND Water, and with electricity. Weather patterns may intensify, and that’s certainty true throughout the rest of this year. This is also an aspect of earthquake and volcanic activity, so be alert if you live in areas where these things are potential for you. Earthquakes that cause tsunamis are a distinct possibility for the next month. In a personal regard, this provocative square again pushes action where there has been resistance or where Leo Mars has been previously restrained during its nasty Retrograde from December 6 to February 27 of this year, so whatever needs to be unleashed has been chomping at the bit and now Leo Mars has its fangs back. It’s also trine Chiron/Eris in Aries, so it’s not nice, and when bitten, we bite back much, much harder.
The key to this transit is to remember that even if we begin this time of Jupiter in a sign of exaltation where Jupiter may feel embattled, or under attack, ultimately Jupiter always comes through the lessons in seeking to DO THE RIGHT THING. This is magnified, again, by the Yod to Sagittarius Moon. Doing what is right is integral to the nature of the Great Benefic, seeking the higher GOOD and the greater lesson at hand. Understanding, however, does not solve the problems. Cancer requires deeply rooted security, and whatever and wherever we’ve been planting for the past year has ALL become a space of upheaval under the Mars Retrograde through Cancer. Now, Jupiter comes through with the promise of truth and brings the emotional intelligence of Mercury in the conjunction no matter how weary we are of whatever Cancer has been made to feel. We can take action according to the Lunar Yod, and we can trust that through the next year, Moon is the guidepost, and Moon is the place where we find solace, no matter how overwhelming the tide becomes.
